So i had a 2012 bios an decided it could do with an update. i downloaded the AI Suite Two and the right bios from the asus website for my motherboard. I used AI Suite Ii to update information technology and information technology finished. Then it asked if i wanted to update logo and i but press adjacent. all of a sudden my gpu driver crashes simply so recovers instantly (thats what the windows 10 notification told me) and the AI Suite II was frozen afterward that. i waited a while to meet if it would set up but it didnt and then i decided to restart my pc. and so it would turn on everything working fine merely my monitor wouldnt display anything. I did a USB bios flash and it worked exactly as expected just my monitor is nevertheless not receiving any signals.

Attempt immigration the RTC RAM and reboot. (Documented in your MB owners guide) Also, what do the MB LEDs show? I have that board besides.

I cleared the RTC RAM past switching the jumper caps (havn't washed the take out battery method yet) and i have two leds on my mobo on, the ane past the PUS is light-green and the 1 by the ram labeled DRAM LED is solid red

Practise you remember the BIOS version you came from? If and then, tin you download it from the ASUS spider web site and apply the USB wink mechanism and endeavor to revert to your previous BIOS. With the DRAM LED staying on that would point it found a problem with the DRAM - more likely BIOS changes and RAM machine-tweeking. There could be bits prepare based on the old BIOS that mean different things RAM wise using the new BIOS. You lot could also endeavour the pull-the-battery and reset CMOS fox as well.

What virtually going through the MemOK! procedure? That "may" cause the BIOS to generate new internal timings and get your RAM up once more.

I but tried the sometime bios and that didnt seem to work either. equally to the MemOK button, i tried it once again and it just but makes the DRAM LED offset flashing reddish at first and after 30 seconds goes back to solid red. Also, i tried the removing bombardment clearing thing and that as well didnt do anything

I'k fresh out of ideas. I estimate information technology'south time to contact Asus and first thinking virtually an RMA...

Well never practice BIOS update under windows! How did you practise a bios wink from USB without display?

The motherboard has a usb flash push button on the back where if you plug in a usb into the port right beneath it (its color labelled and so people know which one) and hold the button for three seconds it will then begin to start flashing and once it stops flashing it is done. i know it flashed properly because at first i had the bios update CAP file in the usb and when i did information technology, the button simply stayed solid blue (which it isnt supposed to) but when i checked the manual and renamed the file to what it said to in the manual, the button started flashing blue (which it is supposed to).

So really you do not know if it worked since you have no display and you can not verify anything! Looks like the board may exist bricked from a bad flash!

Bad BIOS flash and it will non run until new BIOS is inserted probably by replacing the chip. Re-flashing over bad flash never works.

I cleared the RTC RAM past switching the jumper caps (havn't done the take out battery method yet) and i take 2 leds on my mobo on, the one by the PUS is dark-green and the ane by the ram labeled DRAM LED is solid red

Do you recall the BIOS version you came from? If so, can yous download information technology from the ASUS web site and use the USB flash machinery and try to revert to your previous BIOS. With the DRAM LED staying on that would indicate it found a problem with the DRAM - more likely BIOS changes and RAM auto-tweeking. In that location could be $.25 set up based on the old BIOS that mean dissimilar things RAM wise using the new BIOS. You could also try the pull-the-battery and reset CMOS fob every bit well.

What about going through the MemOK! process? That "may" crusade the BIOS to generate new internal timings and get your RAM up once again.
